The Blitzkrieg Band is a Bavarian style oompah band based on the Isle of Wight. We are a six piece combo who specialise in playing the sort of music that makes you want to dance, drink and be happy as in all good Tyrolean style venues across the World. We are also all members of the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra on our nights off! We perform a selection of drinking songs, polkas and well known sing along songs from the music hall and war years, some with audience participation on instruments (that we supply) so there is always something for everyone to enjoy. We even let people from the audience take the mic on occasion! |
